QUESTIONNAIRE

If you have used the YRE the educational pack on racism, published by the YRE in 1996, please help us to find out how it has gone down and how it has been used.

GENERAL QUESTIONS:

1 Where was the pack used: school, college, university, youth club, trade union…?

 2 How was the pack used- individually or in groups, if in groups, were they large or small groups or both?

 3 Can you describe the mix of origin, gender and age of the participants?

 4 Which part or parts of the pack were used the most, and which part or parts were not? Please explain the reason(s).

QUESTION FOR EDUCATION WORKERS:

1. Were the questions suggested for discussion used? If so, did they provoke a discussion? If not, why were they not useful?

2. Were any alternative questions and exercises used? Could these be shared with us? If not would other exercises and questions have been better to use? If so, please explain.

 

3. Did the participants make any comments worth mentioning? What were they about? Were there any racist comments or arguments that the activity raised? Did the pack cover what it is suppose to cover? Please explain.

If possible, please tell us briefly about the discussion in whole and the conclusion drawn from it and from the pack..
